Impertek and the University of Perugia together for the future of construction

Training and Innovation

Collaborations between companies and universities are the driving force behind innovation, research, and development. They offer students the opportunity to put the theoretical knowledge acquired during their studies into practice and allow companies to stay abreast of the latest market trends, as well as the frontiers of research.

It is in this context that Impertek is proud to announce its collaboration with one of the oldest and most prestigious academic institutions in Italy: the University of Perugia, specifically with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (DICA).

DICA represents the cultural area of Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Architecture and Design. These four disciplines find concrete application in numerous industrial sectors, particularly in the construction industry, prefabrication, preservation of existing building and monumental heritage, construction and maintenance of infrastructure, water resource management and protection from natural risks.

The agreement was signed in July 2024 with the Department Director, Professor Giovanni Gigliotti. Thanks to this partnership, DICA students will have the opportunity to participate in workshops and internships at Impertek, under the scientific responsibility of Professor Paolo Belardi. The activities will focus on the technical aspects of the products, design and the characteristics of the polymers used, offering a practical and in-depth experience in line with their course of study.

"We are extremely proud to start this collaboration with the University of Perugia. We firmly believe that the meeting between the academic and industrial worlds is essential to drive innovation and train future professionals. This partnership will offer students a unique opportunity to learn in the field and will allow Impertek to grow thanks to the freshness and enthusiasm of the new generations. We are eager to see the results that will emerge from this synergy," says Riccardo Giacomini, CEO of Impertek.
